Return To Work With Our Help

During these challenging times, it is imperative that we continue to practice excellent social distancing and maintain the general hygiene rituals that we have been encouraged to use.

However, some of the measures are not easy for many businesses to implement without help. Churchill Security has formally trained our teams to be aware of the procedures needed to continue to keep safe, protecting themselves and others, minimising any further potential transmission of COVID-19 within your business.

Keeping up to date and understanding how and when guidelines need to be implemented and administered can be a headache for business owners. Due to the constantly evolving information and guidelines, Churchill are continually training staff on how to apply them safely and effectively including the use of conflict resolution amongst other challenges.

We need to continue to use the basic practices that were introduced by the government, NHS and WHO (World Health Organisation) to reduce the risk of infection. However, in addition, you may well have your own preferred policies and procedures which can be implemented alongside government guidelines.

Utilising enhanced measures like thermal imaging and people flow control technologies will alleviate the pressure many businesses feel to maintain a safe working environment whilst also being able to manage day to day business activities. With the help of Churchill Security, these measures can be implemented for any business across the UK.

Social Distancing & Hygiene

We need to continue our safe practices, with a huge emphasis on Social Distancing. Social Distancing It may not always be possible to keep 2m/6ft away from work colleagues, clients and/or consumers, but being aware of the distance and ensuring you understand potential implications could prevent transmission and infection to you and others around you. Wherever possible the Social Distancing guidelines must be adhered to by everyone to include work colleagues, visitors to sites and customers.

If at any point whilst our staff are on duty, they witness people not complying with social distancing guidelines, they have a raft of procedures they can implement in order to maintain a safe environment for all parties involved. Should the need arise staff are also trained in conflict resolution enabling them to reduce potentially explosive situations. Churchill are continually looking into various ways to help everyone keep safe utilising the latest guidelines from appropriate government bodies

Keeping your hands clean is one of the most important actions you can take. After picking anything up or touching any surface, ensure you use a sanitiser or wash your hands thoroughly. Surface cleaning or deep cleaning may be required depending on the nature of the activities involved in your business.

Risk Assessments

Now more than ever it’s imperative businesses understand the risks and implications of returning to work. Completing an appropriate risk assessment and implementing policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment keeps everyone as safe as possible. Churchill Security can analyse and compile an assessment on how to best mitigate risks, ensuring a much safer area to work and allow customers to do business. Churchill Security have already designed and distributed internally a Covid 19 specific Risk Assessment that may be adapted to all business sectors.

People Flow Control

Understanding who is coming and going through your business is one of the ways to maintain a safe environment for everyone. Utilising people flow control systems allows for companies to monitor and set restrictions on who is entering or leaving. Using advanced AI technology to track and screen the continuous flow of individuals allows businesses to limit and keep track of the flow of people entering and exiting.

Thermal Imaging

One of the most advanced ways to help maintain a safe working environment is through the use of Thermal Imaging Cameras to monitor entrants and potentially avoid any issues before they occur.

Thermal imaging is up to 800% faster than manual approach, able to monitor up to 30 people simultaneously and has a 3-meter detection range allowing for social distancing. With no contact, cameras are quick and easy to install allowing for a seamless transition back to work.

Returning to work for many businesses involves a raft of measures that many of us are not accustomed to. That’s why Churchill Security have formally trained staff to help implement, detect and enforce company and government policies to alleviate any pressure on businesses trying to return to normal operations.
